This list is intended to discuss the use of the free multibody software MBDyn. You must subscribe to post to the list. All discussions are public, although moderated, and the poster is responsible for the disclosure of any information and/or data contained in messages. Messages will be archived. Archives are publicly accessible. Archived messages will contain your email address and any other personal information you disclosed in your message. Archives may be mirrored and archive backups may be made by third parties without even notifying us, so please understand that any piece of information you accidentally disclose might quickly get out of our control. Please post responsibly. If you need private consulting about using MBDyn for confidential analysis, or to troubleshoot issues on private models, you better hire a consultant. The users of this list can provide you public, free consulting if it can be beneficial to other users; in this case, no sensitive data should be used. Sending example models to this list implies consent to making them public. Occasionally, interesting examples posted to the list may be turned into tutorials and distributed with the package, acknowledging the authors. Removing a message from the archives is lengthy and complex, so only really offensive or otherwise inappropriate messages might be eligible for cancellation. If you believe a message should be removed from the archives, please contact the administrator. For no reason the MBDyn Project can be considered responsible for archival messages independently mirrored by third-parties. Using MBDyn-users
To post a message to all the list members, send email to mbdyn-users@mbdyn.org. You can subscribe to the list, or change your existing subscription, in the sections below.
Subscribing to MBDyn-users
Subscribe to MBDyn-users by filling out the following form. You will be sent email requesting confirmation, to prevent others from gratuitously subscribing you. This is a hidden list, which means that the list of members is available only to the list administrator. Your email address:   Your name (optional):   You may enter a privacy password below. This provides only mild security, but should prevent others from messing with your subscription. Do not use a valuable password as it will occasionally be emailed back to you in cleartext. If you choose not to enter a password, one will be automatically generated for you, and it will be sent to you once you've confirmed your subscription. You can always request a mail-back of your password when you edit your personal options. Once a month, your password will be emailed to you as a reminder.
